My client had sold off her real estate closing services business to downsize and simplify. However, her clients came to know and respect her for the diligent and detailed work she had provided over the last 15 years. Now, her new company needed a logo, website, and marketing materials.
The new owners had a completely new website built by another service, rightly making it their own. With my client's old website being easily recognized and many of her clients still looking for her updated services, I suggested using the old site, just with updated information. She really liked the idea of being able to keep that identity she'd had since her last website redesign a few years ago. But we'd refreshed with her new company name, a new logo, and new information. This saved her a good chunk of change and she was appreciative of the suggestion.
The logo was next. She chose from one of the new designs I'd created for her; a strong and solid M with her company name boldly centered across it.
Having provided her with other forms of marketing materials in the past, new business cards, letterhead, and pens were designed and produced with her new identity.
The process really couldn't have been much smoother. Having worked together in the past, knowing her priorities, and understanding the pace she wanted to go, allowed me to make her transition easy and cost-effective.
